It was a picture perfect day for a wedding! The nuptials of William and Kate were watched by hundreds of thousands of well-wishers lining the streets of London.
The stunning Kate arrived by Rolls Royce to reveal the much anticipated wedding dress. The blushing bride wore a custom-made ivory lace appliquéd gown by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. She also adorned a halo tiara, fit for a Queen-to-be, made by Cartier in 1936, a gift from King George VI to Queen Elizabeth. For even extra sparkle she wore diamond earrings, a gift from her parents.
Kate was graceful as she entered the Abby on red carpet, trailed by her 2 metre and 70 centimetre train. Guided by her proud father, she met her prince at the alter who was clad in his scarlet red royal Air force uniform.
Following the vows, they climbed into their carriage which guided them along their one and half mile ride through the city to Buckingham Palace. Like a picture from a fairytale book, the young royalty waved to adoring onlookers, some who had waited days for this mere moment!
Once arriving to the palace, the sea of people rushed towards the gates to witness the newlywed's first public kiss. Followed by a second kiss, the couple turned hand-in-hand, returning through the Palace doors to surely continue the celebrations and live happily ever after...
