DreamGroup’s Wedding Wednesday: Tip of the Week

Selecting the important music...

As it can be a long process, it’s a good idea to start thinking about the important music needed for your wedding day well ahead of time.

Start with songs that are meaningful to you as a couple and then try looking through the collections from your favourite artists. Below is a list of events that usually require a song on the wedding day:

CEREMONY
  • Processional-bridal party
  • Processional-for the bride (if desired)
  • Register Signing
  • Recessional-wedding party and family
RECEPTION
  • Bride & Groom Introduction
  • Cake Cutting
  • First Dance
  • Father-Daughter; Mother-Son Dance
  • Wedding Party Dance
  • Bouquet Toss (if applicable)
  • Garter Toss (if applicable)
  • Last Dance
Keep in mind that you do not have to have a song for each of the events listed above. Decide which events you will have and then choose the songs accordingly.

We promise to inspire, inform & indulge!
