Wedding Basics...

We are officially in the countdown for this fall's Bridal Swap, taking place this November 20th at Villa Amato in Vancouver... an event for Past Brides AND Brides to Be!

In spirit of this eco-friendly event for the savvy bride, check out some great tips from wedding guru Martha Stewart...

1. Simplify

2. Make decisions that reflect your values.

3. Keep the ceremony and reception size small (more intimate and relaxed, and it certainly saves on resources).

4. Be an individual; opt out of what you "have to do."

5. Prioritize.

6. Reuse; avoid disposable or one-use items. (*Find your wedding items at The Original Bridal Swap or declutter your closet and sell them to Brides to Be).

7. Borrow or rent before purchasing, and try to use good-quality items, as they last longer.

8. Recycle (paper, plastics, etc.) or use materials made of recycled materials.

9. Use a more benign manufacturing process.

10. Use companies that donate a portion of their profits to good causes.

Be Eco-Chic this November 20th...

We promise to inspire, inform & indulge!
