GROOM: Selecting your Attire...
Grooms, its time to decide what you and your groomsmen are going to wear for the wedding.. The first thing you need to do is determine if you are renting or buying and then decide what style of formal wear you are going to go with (i.e. suit, tuxedo, khakis & un-tucked dress shirt, etc.)
Check out the inspiration link below if you aren’t sure what you like:

Next, head to your local men’s wear boutique to select the appropriate attire (take any inspiration photos you may have with you) & get measured for everything. If any of your groomsmen, fathers, ect. Can’t make this trip with you, obtain all necessary body measurements from the missing men (i.e. neck, arm length, waist, and height) and order their tuxes for them. If you or they would prefer to do it themselves then be sure to give them the proper information so they can make their own arrangements. Also, be sure to discuss what accessories will be needed with the boutique while you’re there.
Here are DreamGroup’s Top Picks for Menswear:
- The Tux Store
- Harry Rosen
- Ray Rick Burn: Great shop for Men's Apparel, Cufflinks, Suits, Ties, etc.
Once all of these decisions have been made and measurements have been taken, all that is left is to put down the deposit and schedule your pick up date. It can also be helpful to assign someone to be in charge of the pickups for everyone to ensure that no one forgets or can’t make it in time.
