Best Man & Maid of Honor Duties...
Before the big day, its a good idea to touch base with your Best man and Maid of Honor to discuss what is expected of them and what duties you need them to perform leading up to and on the wedding day. Most often the Best Man & Maid of Honor will make a formal speech during the reception. Its also a good idea to Talk to your Maid of Honor and Best man about the bridal shower, the stagette, and the stag. Chances are they (or someone) have already begun planning these events but you should provide them with a guest list including full names and contact information to make the process easier.
Most importantly, don’t assume they know what you need and/or want from throughout the planning process and on the big day. Even if it might seem obvious, it’s better to ask politely and ensure everyone is on the same page as opposed to saying nothing and being disappointed or upset down the road.
