Monday's Montage: Drama with Drapery

Nothing says "fairy-tale wedding" like soft lines, billowing drapery, and beautiful lighting. Drapery can add wonderous elegance to a rustic setting, or it can be the finishing touch of an already contemporary space. It can conceal areas of a venue that would rather not be seen, and can create an atmosphere of sheer brilliance.

Using drapery for the ceiling, altar, doorway, chairs, aisle, or even wrapped around wooden beams are just a few of the ways it can be applied. It is particularly beautiful when it is used in the ever popular "barn" weddings, as it adds femininity and elegance to a country, rustic setting. Have a look at how drapery has been used as decor in these weddings.

Have you, or would you, use drapery on your big day? Tell us some of the ways in which you will be incorporating drama & drapery into your big day.
